Stephon Marbury is finally waived

Stephon Marbury is finally off of the New York Knick's roster, and the whole organization can finally take a deep breath. Marbury is probably one of the most talented players on that roster, yet with his horrible personality, and disappointing work ethic, Marbury has lost the trust of the city and the organization. This waive, has been destined to come anytime during this season. D'antoni doesn't seem to like Marbury and Donnie Walsh has been trying every possible trade scenario to get rid of him.

For now, Marbury's career can take a new turn, and the Knicks can go in a new direction. In fact, the Boston Celtics have had some interest in Marbury, since they are in great need of a backup point guard.

Honestly, I think Marbury needs to grow up and respect the organization that is paying him. He should have had more respect for the coaches and should have played when D'antoni called him to play early in the season. Marbury will have to play for a much smaller contract, and has even been rumored to play in Europe. I think any team that choose to take him, will be very cautious since has completely tarnished his reputation.
